Know the title? (I think it was about flies?) "some are on the walls, some are on the stereo..."those are the only lyrics I remember, I believe they were repeated when spoke/sang "some are on the walls, some are on the walls, some are on the stereo, some are on the stereo.."

This is the only Dr.Demento played song of my youth that I haven't been able to recapture (I had all of my cassettes stolen from my car a decade or so ago). I don't recall anything else about the tune other than (to me) it was the stand out song on whatever cassette that I had put together.

Anyway any help on this song would be great. big fan of Dr.Demento, miss him playing Sunday nights out of Ann Arbor MI still.

The first song that comes to mind is "Fly's Eyes" which was first played credited to Stuart Mitchell and later in a new recording by his alias Heywood Banks, under which he still performs and has been big on the Bob & Tom Show in particular.

The lyrics aren't exactly what you say though, so that may not be it. Can you give a time frame for when you would've heard this, i.e. approximate year(s), and if you know, did you hear it on the show just once or many times, and any other recollections that go with it such as the month or season you first heard it?

Thanks for taking the time, but the song that I've been hoping to rekindle with may not have even mentioned flies, it was steeped in paranoia, and was a quick paced recital of where things were (from what I remember) A friend of mine & I thought it was about flies all of over everything.

Um hey, yeah I cannot say if it was played more than the one show that I had it on cassette. I had recorded every weekend I could but would edit them later on my dual cassette. This time frame wise would have been around 1990 give or take a year I guess. When the interweb was younger I exhausted myself in its pursuit, so thanks again for carrying that weight for a moment lol.
