Where did everyone go?

Hello all,

I've been a fan of the Good Doctor's show for about 20 years now and wanted to finally introduce myself to the community. I am considering starting to do some funny stuff as a side project and am willing to contribute my guitar playing skills to anyone who may be interested in collaborating.

I've noticed that the newsgroup is rather, well, dead these days. Where did everyone go?

Usenet in general seems to have died off tremendously in the past 10+ years. Some ISPs no longer provide access. Is Google Groups now the de facto way to access it? Not sure. But there are several people still here from the 90s!

Google groups is default for access. I'm more or less wondering where the online community for Dr. Demento is. I know there's a Facebook page, but I haven't really seen many discussions recently. That's all.
