Besides the two already mentioned here in the newsgroup (Charlie Drake's "Mr
Custer" and some version of the undemented "Like I Do"), I wonder if the Bonzo
Dog Band will be heard performing "Monster Mash"....r

And two of the songs I mentioned were in the topic....

I notice he also mentioned revisiting the idea later in the summer...as luck
would have it, the same British "Vintage Chart Show" that sparked the original
idea recently mentioned (but did not play, since it had gone done on the week
being featured instead of up) Laurie Lingo's record of "Convoy GB"....

A quick check of dmdb.org and I see Dr Demento played it three times in 1976 and
never since....r
