Help me out here...an underground internet station situated near me has been
playing the Yorgesson track lately, but crediting it to Yogi Yorgesson and Stan
Freberg in their "Recently Played" scroll...did Stan have something to do with
this or is it another case of "every comedy song is by Weird Al" syndrome?...r

No Freberg involvement that I'm aware of. My guess is they're playing this from the CD Have Yourself A Crazy Little Christmas, which has 5 Stan Freberg Christmas songs followed by 5 Yogi Yorgesson Christmas songs.

No Freberg involvement that I'm aware of. My guess is they're playing this from

Christmas songs followed by 5 Yogi Yorgesson Christmas songs.

Maybe they figured it out...there's a page showing the last fifteen songs
they've played, and six tracks back this track is listed, this time with the
correct credit (they screwed up the title, giving it as "I Want Santa Claus At
The School House (For The PTA)", but they make typos like that all the time....r

A Daddy's Christmas - Albert Brooks & Little Kristi

This holiday classic was played on the show for the first time in 1978, which is
when I first heard it...how old is Little Kristi today and what's she doing with
her life?...

(Wikipedia and IMDb both say Brooks didn't marry until 1997, and neither
mentions any kids from previous relationships, so I'm assuming Kristi was
actually a child actress rather than his own kid)....r
